Our Founding Director: Louise Blazik, D.H.M. (h.c.), CTDP, CTM
Louise was one of the first individuals to establish a private career college in Canada specializing in training individuals for exciting and rewarding careers in the travel and tourism industry.
As a Certified Training and Development Professional (CTDP) and member of the prestigious CSTD (Canadian Society for Training & Development), Louise designs and delivers high-end training programs, Workshops, Seminars and Key Note Addresses for travel agencies, tour operators, tourist boards, and airlines. She also provides business and marketing consulting for projects locally and abroad for a wide variety of companies, college and universities and government. With over twenty five years of experience of working and training others in the travel and tourism industry, Louise has helped hundreds of people to fulfill their dream careers.
Louise’s lifelong passion and support for the travel and tourism industry is demonstrated in the exceptional delivery of the wide variety of training programs including specialty projects for Sandals & Beaches Resorts/Unique Vacations Canada, among many other fine companies.
In 2009, Louise designed a highly successful TICO Education Standards exam preparation course which she continues to deliver to clients across Canada, and the United States including some of the travel industry’s finest, and most successful companies including: Expedia, itravel2000.com, New Wave Travel, SunWing Vacations, SportsCorp Travel, TIC Travel Insurance, TPI (Travel Professionals International), The Cruise Professionals, Airliners, Maritime Travel, Talk of the Town Travel, HRG Worldwide among others.
Louise holds the highest designation for professionals in the travel and tourism industry in Canada CTM (Certified Travel Manager) administered by ACTA – Alliance of Canadian Travel Agents.
In 2014, Noble International University granted Louise the degree of Doctor of Holistic Medicines (D.H.M. (h.c.)).
Our Admissions Director: Stephen Newbigging
Stephen is a seasoned travel professional with extensive knowledge and experience in management, and training having worked and travelled around the world for over twenty-five years.
Stephen is Admissions Director, and Business Development Officer for Travel College Canada. In this role, Stephen is the liason with Immigration Lawyers, and Education Consultants whose clients apply to study in Canada at Travel College Canada.
Stephen also assists students with selecting and enrolling in the best program to meet their career goals.
Stephen is certified by the University of Toronto to teach English as a Second Language (ESL).
Our instructors are selected for their extensive travel, work experience, knowledge and skills in the travel industry. In addition, as well as dedication to provide helpful, support and encouragement to our students ensuring a great training experience. This results in highly trained self-confident graduates.
